Pesado is an Australian-owned brand dedicated to precision-engineered coffee tools, crafted with a focus on quality, functionality, and design aesthetics. By using sustainably sourced local materials and combining high-strength stainless steel with modern acetal thermoplastics, Pesado provides a sleek and durable finish that is built to last.
Designed in response to popular demand, Pesado’s puck diffuser screen enhances coffee extraction by slowing the diffusion of water through the coffee puck, resulting in longer brew times.
For those who prefer dosing less coffee in their filter basket, the puck screen reduces headspace, helping to avoid muddy pucks. It also increases pressure inside the puck for a slower, more controlled extraction that improves overall yield.
