Pesado is an Australian-owned brand dedicated to precision-engineered coffee tools, crafted with a focus on quality, functionality, and design aesthetics. By using sustainably sourced local materials and combining high-strength stainless steel with modern acetal thermoplastics, Pesado provides a sleek and durable finish that is built to last
Developed by popular demand, Pesado’s puck diffuser screen is designed to enhance coffee extraction.
By slowing the diffusion of water through the coffee puck, the puck screen helps increase brew time for more even extraction. It’s also a practical tool for those dosing lower in the filter basket—reducing headroom and helping avoid a muddy puck.
Additionally, using the puck screen can increase pressure within the puck, resulting in a slower extraction and higher extraction yield.
